Authority in planning a future
for the vacant Lanakila Homes.
The group toured the unoccupied
neighborhood and discussed ideas
for saving the structures at
a low cost. The units are in
need of rehabilitation if they
are to serve as public housing
for the Big Island's large number
of families in need.
