Laupahoehoe, HI - The North Hilo Community Council organizes a forum, featuring the four candidates running for the Big Island's only District 2 seat held by incumbent, Herbert Watanabe. The other candidates are Bill Sanborn, Paul Bryant, and Pat Walsh. Questions to the candidates are centered on the issues important to parents, teachers, and students. Comments and ideas are shared on such varied topics as the state DOE, school community councils, and bullying.
