September 23, 2008 - Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, HI - Part two in a special video series explaining recent changes at the active Kilauea volcano. The videos document the slide show presentation of geologist Matt Patrick during the September 23rd "After Dark in the Park" event, featuring the work of Hawaii Volcano Observatory scientists in monitoring the current eruption. Part two focuses on the ongoing east rift zone activity, particularly the fissures that erupted downrift of Pu`u `O`o on July 21, 2007, up to the November 21st "Thanksgiving Eve Breakout" lava flow.
