September 24, 2008 - Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, HI - Part three in a special video series explaining recent changes at the active Kilauea volcano. The videos document the slide show presentation of geologist Matt Patrick during the September 23rd "After Dark in the Park" event, featuring the work of Hawaii Volcano Observatory scientists in monitoring the current eruption.

Part three focuses on the advance of the "Thanksgiving Eve Breakout" lava flow into the Royal Gardens subdivision.

Matt's slide show is mixed with media made available by the United States Geological Survey website, and footage shot by Big Island Video News.
