September 26, 2008 - Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, HI - Part eight in a special video series explaining recent changes at the active Kilauea volcano. The videos document the slide show presentation of geologist Matt Patrick during the September 23rd "After Dark in the Park" event, featuring the work of Hawaii Volcano Observatory scientists in monitoring the current eruption. Part eight is the final video. It takes a look at the most recent Kilauea summit eruption, and includes the visual confirmation of the lava lake inside Halema`uma`u crater.
