Kids jumpm off the stone tower at Coconut Island

Banyan Drive in Hilo was a bustling place on Friday, thanks in large part to the influx of visitors from across the state, arriving to take part in Saturday's state canoe championships.

However, it also happened to be the last Friday of "freedom" for local keiki, as the new school year is starting back up on Monday.

In this video, kids can be seen getting in the last minute summer fun, jumping off the stone tower located by Moku Ola, also known as Coconut Island, by Hilo Bay.
