Hilo blows out Waiakea in DI BIIF championship

After winning the opening tip off, Hilo took the ball down court and scored, and never looked back.
The first place Waiakea took a beating at the hands of the Vikings, who went on to blow out the Warriors with a final score of 71 – 39.
On offense, the team attacked the basket with aggression, and an intense defense fed Viking fast break after fast break.
The two teams will play in the state tournament, with Hilo getting a top seed in the playoff.
