Isn't the more important procedural step, the MKMB's discussion over the proposed TMT project and a recommendation of approval or disapproval OF THE WHOLE TMT PROPOSAL to the Chancellor? Isn't that more important than an environmental review document? If so, why is no one from OMKM or MKMB alerting the public to this important event? (Or is it really just a pro forma rubber stamping of what the University of California, UH and CalTech want?) That meeting was announced to happen May 19 at 9 am at some as yet undetermined room at UHH. Ask Barry Taniguchi or Stephanie Nagata.
