South Kona highway lane closed for HELCO work

HONAUNAU, Hawaii: The Department of Public Works has issued this alert to motorists in South Kona.

HELCO crews are working between the hours of 8:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. to replace a utility pole at mile marker 104, one mile of SKEA in Hōnaunau. The mauka lane on the Hawai‘i Belt Highway, closed July 25 and is expected to remain closed until July 28.
