Fire burns along Saddle Road.

SADDLE ROAD, Hawaii: Some incredible video of a car engulfed in flames on Saturday, after a crash along Saddle Road at the 50 mile marker.

This video was taken by Gavin Tanouye – known to KWXX radio listeners as G Cruz – who happened to be in the area when the two-car crash occurred. This footage was taken even before fire crews arrived at 10:30 a.m.

We are told both occupants of the vehicles were able to escape without injury.

However, the car fire ignighted the surrounding pastureland, which burned about one acre before being put out by Pohakuloa Training Area fire crews.

Saddle Road was closed for about 70 minutes due to heavy smoke and firefighting activities.
