STORY SUMMARY

KEALAKEHE, Hawaii - A moderated Gubernatorial and Lieutenant Governor Candidate Forum was held on Friday at the Kealakehe High School Cafeteria, presented by the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce and Community Forums.

(BIVN) – Five candidates for Lieutenant Governor took to the stage of the Kealakehe High School Cafeteria on Friday night to engage in a political forum.

Democrats Bernard P. Carvalho, Jr., William C. Espero, Joshua B. Green, and Kim Coco Iwamoto, were joined by Republican Jeremy Lowe for the event presented by the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce and Community Forums.

The Lieutenant Governor candidates forum, moderated by Sherry Bracken, went on for approximately 35 minutes, after which time four leading candidates for governor took the stage.

Co-sponsors of the forum included the Kohala Coast Resort Association, League of Women Voters, West Hawaii Association of Realtors and West Hawaii Today.
