KALAPANA (BIVN) – Incredible views of lava rushing down the Pulama pali in bright orange channels were recorded during an overflight on Thursday morning.
ROYAL GARDENS (BIVN) – The active lava flow from Puʻu ʻŌʻō is moving down the Pūlama pali, and has turned into a channelized ʻaʻā flow. Scientists are keeping an eye on things.
KILAUEA (BIVN) – The lava flow is about to hit the cliff, and is now over 3.2 miles long and moving roughly 330 feet per day. Mick Kalber got some footage from above on Thursday.
KILAUEA (BIVN) – Both the USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory and busy vulcanographer Mick Kalber have captured a new series of imagery, showing the advance of the lava to the southeast.
