Chopper One was called in to perform water drops using ocean water nearby. The helicopter continued to perform water drops until 3 p.m.
Days before the fire, the county announced that this park, which is also known as “4-Miles”, would be closed from Monday, February 1st through Thursday, February 4th to allow staff to remove fallen trees.
