The following media release was issued by the Public Affairs Office of the U.S. Army Garrison, Hawaii:

Hunting activities at Pohakuloa Training Area will be closed June 12 – July 2, and July 17-August 31 for live-fire training purposes.

Hunter’s are encouraged to plan alternate hunting activities on Hawaii Island during the closures. The PTA Hunter’s hotline number is 808 969-3474
