WAIMEA, Hawaii: The promotion is underway for a celebration for a prominent Laupahoehoe Hawaiian musician.
“60 Years of Excellence: A Birthday Celebration for BRUDDAH SMITTY” will be held on Friday, February 3rd at Waimea’s Kahilu Theatre.
A packed line-up for the popular Hawaiian slack key guitar musician is already set, and will include Eddie Kamae, Keoki Kahumoku, Darlene Ahuna, Duane Yamada, Mark Yamanaka, the Lono Kanaka’ole Trio, and many others.
Tickets are now on sale, you can call the Kahilu Theatre at 885-6868.
