HILO, Hawaii: An extra long holiday weekend for some county employees. Looks like Monday will be another furlough day.

From the Hawaii County website:

Due to the Good Friday holiday on Friday, April 6, the County of Hawai‘i monthly furlough day for April will be Monday, April 9. The Hawai‘i County Building and Aupuni Center in Hilo, West Hawai‘i Civic Center in Kona, and other county offices will be closed. County gyms and pools will also be closed. The Hele-On Bus will run on a normal schedule. The County of Hawai‘i apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
