LAUPAHOEHOE, Hawaii: The Hawaii State Department of Transportation has issued an alert for the following lane closures for the area of Laupahoehoe during the week of May 19-25th.
The DOT says lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.
1) NINOLE TO LAUPAHOEHOE
Alternating single lane closures on Hawaii Belt Road in both directions between Pina Kahuku Road and Middle Road, in the vicinity of Maulua Gulch, on Monday, May 21, through Friday, May 25, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for tree trimming.
2) LAUPAHOEHOE
Alternating single lane closures on Hawaii Belt Road in both directions between Old Mamalahoa Highway and Niupea Homestead Road on Monday, May 21, through Friday, May 25, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for pavement striping.
