HILO, Hawaii: Zippy’s, the beloved local food franchise with locations across the island’s – but not on the Big Island – is finally on its way to Hilo.
The restaurant chain announced on Thursday that Zippy’s will be making its way to the Prince Kuhio Plaza in summer of 2013.
Zippy’s President Paul Yokota said the company is delighted to have the opportunity to serve Hilo and to provide its residents with all of their Zippy’s favorites. He said Zippy’s is also looking forward to joining and supporting the community by offering employment opportunities and supporting Hilo’s businesses and organizations.
