Headline: HCCDA Message: National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for summits of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. Travel to summit areas should be postponed.

Description: This is a High Wind Warning Information Update for Tuesday February 26th at 10:00 AM The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for the summit areas of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. This High Wind Warning will remain in effect through 6:00 PM Wednesday February 27th. Sustained winds from 25 to 40 MPH are expected for today and forecasted to increase to 30 to 50 MPH tonight. In addition gusts of over 60 MPH are being forecasted.

Instruction: Travel to the summit areas should be postponed until conditions improve.
