AINALOA, Hawaii – Puna councilman Zendo Kern is pushing to improve shoulders on Ainaloa Boulevard.
The County Council Committee on Finance just gave the first OK to bill 172, adding $86,000 to the Capital Budget for the project.
Its something Kern has been working on for the community since he first took office.
This is a project that I’ve been talking to (Public Works) about for a while…. This is a project that will definitely improve the quality of life and safety for folks inside that subdivision, give ’em a safe area to walk.
