UPDATE: Police have charged an Ocean View woman with arson in connection with a September 2nd fire at the house she occupied. 36-year-old Emily Smith faces first-degree arson and third-degree assault for morning incident on Reef Circle Mauka in Hawaiian Ocean view Estates. Police say Smith’s third-degree assault charge is for allegedly striking a firefighter who responded to the scene. Smith court case has been suspended pending the outcome of a mental health assessment.
