HILO, Hawaii – The 8th annual Hawaii Island Veterans Day Parade marched through Downtown Hilo on Saturday. This year’s event, themed “Celebrate Service”, honored Major General Arthur “Joe” Logan as military grand marshal, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary to Post 3830 in Pahoa as community parade marshal. This year’s November 11th holiday falls on Wednesday.
