HILO, Hawaii – For the second time in his young political career, State Senator Kai Kahele delivers an energized speech from the podium on the eve of Hawaii’s elections.
The senator – appointed to fill the seat upon the sudden passing of his father – is running his first campaign. He won the nomination in the primary, and now faces Libertarian candidate Kimberly Arianoff in the general election.
