HILO, Hawaii – On his second full day in office, Mayor Harry Kim talks about the controversial Kukuihaele Park project, which has divided the community in the small plantation village by Waipi’o Valley.

The project was left unfinished by the prior Kenoi administration, and now Kim says he has instructed his Parks and Recreation Department to take a look at it with Corporation Counsel.
