NORTH KOHALA – Hawaii County Police issued an alert message via their Nixle account Monday evening, reporting a road closure in both directions on Highway 270 near Lapakahi State Park due to a traffic accident.
“Avoid area,” police say.

Hawaii Police Dept report Akoni Pule Hwy is now closed in both directiosn for the next 4 hours for a traffic accident investigation between the 13 and 14 Mile Markers.
