KAILUA-KONA (BIVN) - The National Park Service say the access road to Kaloko Fishpond and parking lot will be closed on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 8 am – 5 pm.

KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii – There will be a road and parking area closure at Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historical Park next Tuesday.

“To provide for public safety during coconut tree trimming work,” the National Park Service announced in a recent media release, “the access road to Kaloko Fishpond and parking lot will be closed on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from
8 am – 5 pm.”

The Kaloko gravel road, or Ala Nui Kaloko, is located off Highway 19 between mile markers 96 & 97.
