(BIVN) – Waimea town celebrated their very own Hōkūleʻa and Hikianalia crew members during a community association meeting on August 3.

The five voyagers – Pwo navigator Chadd Paishon, Captain Pomai Bertelmann, Mike Manu, Kaniela Anakalea-Buckley, and Scotty Kanda – just completed the epic Malama Honua worldwide journey. They recounted their 42,000-mile voyage for the benefit of those in attendance in the Waimea School cafeteria.
