(BIVN) – Officials with the Hawaii Electric Light Company gave a presentation to the Hawaii County Council’s Agriculture, Water & Energy Sustainability Committee on Tuesday.

HELCO president Jay Ignacio talked for about 30 minutes, while using a power point to illustrate “Hawaii’s Energy Future”.

Sierra Club member Cory Harden had several question for the utility, which she expressed in public testimony. Ignacio worked in answered Harden’s questions during the presentation.
