(BIVN) – The Windward Planning Commission meets in Hilo today and there are four items listed on the agenda. One of them, involving the Liliʻuokalani Trust plan to build a community center in Keaʻau, will be heard for the first time. The other three items are continued matters. The controversial proposal for a permit to build a water bottling plant in Hilo is requesting a reconsideration of a previous decision that deferred a decision pending a State Commission on Water Resource Management rule making process.
