Event organizers say the local agricultural industry will be gather at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa for the event on November 9 and 10, 2026.

The theme of this year’s conference is Hawaiʻi Agriculture: Driving Dedication, Diversity & Diligence. The theme “recognizes that building a resilient, vibrant and sustainable agricultural sector takes collaboration, leadership and a shared commitment to future generations,” organizers say.

From a news release about the event:

The conference plays a vital role in ensuring food security, providing essential ecosystem services, promoting economic diversification, and fostering a deep sense of stewardship (mālama) for the environment. Considering recent global and local challenges, there is a renewed appreciation for agriculture as an integral part of our community’s fabric.

“The challenges facing Hawai‘i’s farmers and ranchers require more than conversation; they require action,” said Christine Brammer, executive and program director of the Agricultural Leadership Foundation of Hawaii. “We hope attendees leave AG2026 with new connections, practical solutions and a clearer understanding of how they can contribute to the success of agriculture here in the islands.”

“Dedication, diversity and diligence reflect the determination and knowledge that drive Hawai‘i’s agricultural industry,” said conference co-chair Pomai Weigert. “These qualities are essential as we work to address the industry’s evolving needs and create lasting opportunities for those who make their livelihoods in agriculture. We look forward to gathering with members of our agricultural community to attain these goals.”

The statewide event is held every two years and gathers local agriculture and food production leaders to share ideas and trends in the ever-evolving industry. This sector’s resilience and growth depend on the collective efforts of a diverse array of stakeholders, including producers, landowners, decision-makers, and consumers, as well as many other auxiliary players. AG2026 is hosted by the Agricultural Leadership Foundation of Hawai‘i with support from the State of Hawai‘i Department of Agriculture & Biosecurity.
