HILO - Waves hammered the shore of Keaukaha on Wednesday as the passing Tropical Storm Guillermo churned up the Pacific to the northeast of the Big Island. The Tropical Storm Watch for Hawaii Island has been cancelled, but a High Surf Warning remains in effect for east facing shores.

  • HILO, Hawaii – Waves hammered the shore of Keaukaha on Wednesday as the passing Tropical Storm Guillermo churned the Pacific to the northeast of the Big Island. The Tropical Storm Watch for Hawaii Island has been cancelled, but a High Surf Warning remains in effect for east facing shores. The footage above was shot at the closed Onekahakaha Beach Park around 9 a.m.
