One man’s trash is another man’s fashion

Hawi, Hawaii – A large crowd gathered at the Kohala Coffee Mill in Hawi to see trash… transformed into fashion.
The 4th Annual Kohala Trash Bash Fashion Show, held on Saturday, gave a second life to to everyday discarded items as artistic adornments on the runway.
Cash prizes were awarded for each category; Adult Male, Adult Female, Teen and Youth.
The event raises awareness about recycling. The fashion show was complimented by an art show at the same location, the night before.
