The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce has selected Kokua Kailua as this year’s winner of its prestigious Visitor Industry Marketing Award.
One Sunday per month, Alii Drive closes to vehicular traffic so the visiting masses can stroll the historic seaside village by foot.
The monthly event is part of the Kailua Village Business Improvement District’s mission to make the Kona community a better place to invest, work, live and play.
