Tuesday evening, the Hawaii Island’s award winning slack-key guitarist, John Keawe will brings his musical talent to the stage at the After Dark in the Park program at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
Winner of the 2009 Na Hoku Hanohano Slack Key Album of the Year award for his CD “Hawai`i Island is My Home”, John will share songs from his newly released CD, “Play with Me Papa.”
Keawe’s wife, Hope, will provide moving interpretations of his music with her graceful hula.
The National Park expects the program to be well attended so come early for seating. Auditorium doors open at 6:30pm. John’s CDs and DVDs will be available for purchase the evening of the performance.
