Media release from Hawaii County Police
Big island Police are searching for a stolen homemade flatbed utility trailer.
The trailer was last seen on September 17 in the area of Leila Road in the Fern Forrest subdivision in Puna.
It is described as 16-feet long with newly-painted black fenders, double axles, four new tires, plastic mats and a wooden base. The number “294” is welded to the front supporting frame in large visible numbers.
Police ask that anyone with information on the trailer’s whereabouts call Officer Shawn Matsuda at 965-2716.
Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
