Message from Hawaii County Civil Defense

National Weather Service Wind Advisory and High Surf Advisory remains in effect and to include off shore rough seas and gale winds.

Description: The National Weather Service Wind Advisory and High Surf Advisory remains in effect for the Island of Hawaii. In addition, gale force winds and rough seas are expected in the channels and Leeward and Southeast areas around the Big Island. Boating and other ocean activities should be postponed until conditions improve. These advisories will remain in effect through Thursday February 21st.

Instruction: Marine precautions, postpone all ocean activities until conditions improve.
