Kalōpā, Hawaii – The Department of Public Works plans to resurface Kalaniai Street in Kalōpā, starting next week. From Hawaii County:

Kalaniai Street in Kalōpā is scheduled for road resurfacing by the Department of Public Works, Highway Maintenance Division on Tuesday, April 29. The hours are weekdays 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Roadwork will start at the Kalōpā Road intersection, and continue in the mauka direction. One travel lane will be open. Please consider alternate routes and avoid delays.

Completion is scheduled the second week in May. Roadwork may be canceled for the day without notice due to rain.Hawaii Co. Department of Public Works
