- KEALAKEHE, Hawaii – A young man with a bright future was honored by the Hawaii County Council recently. Kona councilwoman Karen Eoff recognized 2011 Kealakehe grad Evan Matsuyama, who – since graduating from UH-Hilo – has been doing important work in the field of Japanese-American history.
