(BIVN) – E Kalani Flores gave the final arguments on behalf of the Flores-Case Ohana on Wednesday in Hilo before the land board in the Thirty Meter Telescope contested case hearing.
The Flores-Case Ohana is one of the original petitioners to challenge the University of Hawaii’s conservation district use application that would allow the Thirty Meter Telescope to be built on Mauna Kea.
The day-long hearing concluded with no decision on the University of Hawaii’s application for the CDUP. The Hawaii Board of Land and Natural Resources will issue its decision at a later date.
