HILO, Hawaii – A Hilo woman was charged with eight property crimes on Thursday, June 13th. Police say the charges include three counts of burglary.

24 year old Suzy Chun was arrested late Wednesday afternoon on an outstanding bench warrant.

According to police, it was determined that Chun was allegedly involved in the early May break-ins of three homes in Panaʻewa Farm Lots, Upper Waiākea and Laupāhoehoe. Police say items removed included jewelry, computer laptops and gaming systems with a combined value of more than $10,000.

“At 6:05 p.m. Thursday, Chun was charged with three counts of first-degree burglary, four counts of second-degree theft and one count of third-degree theft. Her bail was set at $116,000. She was held at the Hilo cellblock Thursday night pending her initial court appearance on Friday (June 14).”
