(BIVN) – Three popular beaches on Hawaii’s west side remain closed after the fire department and lifeguards spot a number of large sharks swimming nearby. Spencer Beach Park, closed two days in a row, joins Hapuna State Park and Waialea Bay, which were both closed since Sunday. The sharks are believed to tiger sharks, ranging in length from 6 to 16 feet.
