MAUNA KEA, Hawaii: A resolution supporting the use of certain federal funds to complete the Saddle Road project was passed by the Hawaii County Council last week.
The measure, introduced by councilman Pete Hoffmann, support the use of TIGER funds to be expended on the cross island project.
The deadline to request the TIEGR grant program funding is October 31, 2011.
