KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii: Here is a road work alert for Mamalahoa Highway in Holualoa, issued June 8th.
On June 12, the Highway Maintenance division is scheduled to return to resurface Māmalahoa Highway in Hōlualoa, starting from mile marker 9 for 1,000’ in the direction of Palani Junction. Alternate lane closures between the hours of 7:30 AM-4:30 PM.
On the same day, Isemoto Contracting Company Ltd. will keep one-lane open to traffic on Māmalahoa highway at mile marker 4.4, near Waiono Meadows in Hōlualoa. The road will be resurfaced, shoulders paved, and swales added. Alternate lane closures are 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Completion for both projects is June 13.
