VIDEO REPORT: Earth Day at Keauhou Beach

An Earth Day Fair was held the same day at Keauhou Beach Resort.
The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce and University of Hawaii Sea Grant College Program presented the fair, which was the 10th year for the event. Over 60 activites and exhibits shared the common goal of raising environmental awareness.
At the nearby Kahaluu Bay, children and adults took part in tide pool adventures, whale and dolphin games, and other educational activities. Cultural experts were also there to teach Hawaiian arts through demonstrations.
Ono food was offered, and some of Hawaiia’s top entertainers performed poolside during the event.
