Hawaiian music fans along the Hamakua Coast and beyond gathered at Laupahoehoe State Park on Saturday, for the fifth annual Laupahoehoe Music Festival.
Over the years, the outdoor event has raised more than $12,000 for scholarships to benefit area high school seniors.
This year, the non-profit organizers of the event, Malama Hawaii Nei, hoped to raide over $5,000.
Advertised performers included Bruddah Smitty and Friends, Times 5, Darlene Ahuna, The Lim Family, Iray, Noname, Hama Jang, E Kolu Mea Nui, Lorna Lim & Polinahe, Liko Martin, Hula Halau O Mailelaulani and other surprise entertainers.
