The 60th annual Hawaii County Fair, organized by the Hilo Jaycees (correction) was held on the grounds of the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium this week.

Once again, the main attractions over the four days of family fun were the rides provided by EK Fernandez.

Thrill seekers had their choice of the Zipper and Fireball, among other roller coaster-like contraptions. Of course, there was the traditional ferris wheel rising high over Hilo.

Amusement park games, musicians, comedians, and a hypnotist also entertained fair goers.

Hilo can expect to attend the same event this time, next year.
