Volcano Village celebrated the 4th of July with its traditional Independence Day parade.
The Volcano Community Association says the parade gets bigger every year. The eclectic march began at the Volcano Post Office and proceeded for one half mile along Old Volcano Road to the Cooper Community Center.
The parade featured the Hawaii County Band, and local organizations like the Volcano Art Center, Volcano School of Arts and Science, and the Volcano Rotary.
After the parade… Music, games, food booths, crafts and prizes.
