HILO, Hawaii: During last weekend’s DLNR listening session held in Hilo, Wailoa State Park was the subject of a proposal by residents.
The Wailoa River State Park falls under the juridiction of the DLNR’s State Parks Divsion. The cash strapped department says it is looking for public / private partnerships to help initiated improvements at the many state parks around the state.
