Deadly Roads Have Impacted Mayor’s Family, Also

WAIMEA – The dangers of Waikoloa Road were addressed by Mayor Billy Kenoi at a community meeting in Waimea last week.

On March 1, a 63-year-old biker from Michigan lost his life on the narrow road. Jeffrey C. Surnow died after crashing into a police car near the 11 mile marker.
