PUNA - Gloves removed from a Hawaiian Beaches home had the signatures of numerous boxers and referees who participated in the 1984 Olympic Games.

HAWAIIAN BEACHES – Hawaii County Police are renewing their request for the public’s help in locating a pair of Everlast boxing gloves removed from a home in the Hawaiian Beaches subdivion, possibly in mid-January.

Police say the gloves have the signatures of numerous boxers and referees who participated in the 1984 Olympic Games.

Police ask anyone with any information about this case to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or contact Detective John Rodrigues at 961-8222 or john.rodrigues@hawaiicounty.gov, or Detective Royce Serrao at 961-2272 or royce.serrao@hawaiicounty.gov.
